MicroWorlds Robotics EX

With the Final Class in 2004 Gerry Telmosse and I have switched from YellowBrick LOGO to MicroWorlds EX Robotics as our programming language. Programs written by Mrs. Meiskey's class are in EX Robotics.

There are a number of syntax differences which took us old guys a couple of weeks to get over. Lucky for us the students didn't know the old language and it was of no importance to them.

The advantages of The MicroWorlds EX Robotics language are many. The infrared tower is now a USB supported device and the nine volt battery inside of the serial port doesn't become ajar and disconnected. The software itself is more stable and less subject to being a problem being saved. There are many other features of EX Robotics that we still have to explore and work with.

If you are considering robotics - save yourself a huge amount of time by getting the Microworlds EX Robotics software from: http://www.microworlds.com

Thanks to Alain Tougas, Susan Einhorn and Shawn Jesty for all their help in getting us going with our new software. It's great!
