Week 1

We learned what our jobs were and to keep our robot simple. Also we saw the pictures and we chose to use a touch sensor. We decided to make our robot do a star formation.

Week 2

We are picking out pieces to build our robot. We have decided to have two big wheels in the back and one in the front for stabilization. We changed our minds and decided on a rocket shape instead. We got the motors on (we think)!! We still haven't got it moving.

Week 3

We are connecting some of the pieces to our robot and picking some out. We can't figure out how to get the motors on so we are getting very annoyed (I guess we were wrong before)!!

We think we might get the motors on next week.

Week 4

Today we are trying to build our robot and finding even more pieces for it. We just realized that we need to put gears on so we are all in despair. We found out how to move the wheels, but they keep falling off. I think Kristina is pulling her hair out, because she's so annoyed.

Week 5

Today we are finishing the robot. We are trying to put on a light sensor, and trying to put one more wheel on. The wheels keep falling off though we think we might be done soon.

Week 6

We found out how to program our robot, and got all the wheels on. Now we will program it. We're almost finished. Ten minutes later…. We finally finished our robot!!

Week 7

We found out that during the run of the robot, the wheels didn't work right, so we found out what the problem was and we fixed it. We found out how to attach and program the light sensors.

Week 8

We are trying to modify the wheels and download our program and we are going to test it. We also have to put on a light sensor and program it. Our robot is starting to fall apart!!! We are running the robot.

Week 9

We are trying to fix our robot and we are not being too successful. We need to find a way to make it sturdier. We have managed to program our robot. Our robot keeps falling apart every time we try to test it in the hallway. It's too fragile, so we are trying to fix it. Hopefully we can fix it in time. Also maybe we can decorate it a little bit.

Week 10

Our robot works!!! We took off the big front wheel and take off part of the program. If we didn't our robot's wheels would fall off every time we ran it. Are robot is working wonderfully. It's done. We fixed it and it's working great. Our robot is perfect and working well.

Week 11

Today we finally finished our robot and got its picture taken! We are starting a new program. We added in some reverse programs and we think it will make our robot better. Our robot has not fallen apart yet, so we are really happy that there isn't panic in the air like last week. We are testing our new program but it failed. We are trying to fix it. Now we changed our new program and hopefully it won't fall apart again. Guess what it broke again just perfect. I personally think our new program is a dud. Maybe it'll be better next week. We just tested our new program and it does the "Moon walkin' worm".

Week 12

Today we are dismantling our robot and typing this up. Marianne and Kristina dismantled it and Ryan and I are typing. On this entire project we have learned a lot. Like sometimes we were under pressure but we always came through.
