T35000

by Ashley, Peter, Kelly, Sarah, & Tommy

The first day we made up our names and discussed what one we wanted to use. As you could see it is T35000. The next week, we built our first wheel on our robot and put the motor on. Then, the following week, we started to learn how to program our robot to do what we wanted it to do. The fourth week, we are trying to finish up the other wheel on our robot. Also, we were almost done.
The next week we had some technical difficulty and had to fix the wheel part. The sixth week, our robot wasn't working and we had no idea why. Our group tried to do everything we could to try and get it to beep but it just wouldn't. Guess what- our robot had to be taken apart and it needed new batteries. We took the brick off and took the old batteries out and out in new ones. We're saved, our robot is saved!! The next week (seventh week), we are trying to make our robot more bulk and stronger. We had wheel problems again and we fixed it with a rubber band. The eighth week, we got it programmed and is working just fine. The wheels are a little crooked but, it's working just fabulously!
The second to last week, we programmed our light sensor to the robot. We just found out we have to take the robot apart and turn around the motor. The last week, we are working on getting the programs (all of them), on our robot. We have to fix the robot because it doesn't work!!! Now we are playing with the little plastic men!!! Our robot broke!! It was because everyone was playing with it, and trying to find out what was wrong with the tires. Now we had to make a totally different robot. And plus, we also started off with one engine and now we have two engines so now it is working nicely.

Our robot goes forward then reverses direction when it hits a dark color. Our robot also spins on one wheel in circles. It also goes forward for 3 seconds then the wheel spin backwards and then goes the opposite way for another 3 seconds and stops on a dime.
